History and Purpose of New Horizons Adult Family Homes

Over the years we have found the secret to success in this business: love of people.

All that we do here flows from that.  New Horizons is a warm, comfortable home in which respect and appreciation of the individual's desires and abilities are held in the highest regard.

We hope to serve people in a fashion that encourages independence while providing for their needs in a dignified and professional manner.

Who we are:

My family started New Horizons in 1990 to fulfill what they realized was a large gap in residential options for the elderly.  At that time there were few options between retirement homes and nursing homes. In the summer of 1993 I completed my NAC training and my mother and I became formal partners.  Since my mother's retirement in 1998, I proudly share this business with my wife, Louann Garceau, RN, and our two young sons.

New Horizons is a registered trade name of the corporation "Care with Dignity, Inc."
